I didn't know if you were going to be able make it, what with all the house stuff, but kept forgetting to ask.

I'm not registering for the con, but I'm definitely coming to San Francisco. I figure I can go look at different neighborhoods and see if there are any open houses that weekend, and then in the evenings come back to drink and socialize. I don't know if the Drunk Eaters are going to do any room parties, but since I'm going to have my car with me I've already offered my services to the cause.

I registered a few weeks ago (in spite of the Aussie $ going down the tubes) when they posted that they'd nearly run out of tickets to the HBP IMAX showing. Could've waited until this weekend and saved enough to cover that ticket!

Now I have to find a roommate willing to stay at Parc55 for 6-7 nights...

And I was able to get a ticket to HBP, thank goodness. I was so worried that I would not be able to go! I saw the same notice about running out of tickets and I was afraid that I wouldn't get one.

Oh, this is TOTALLY awesomesauce. I am so excited! This con seems to really have a lot of my friends going. whee!!

Um, as far as registration--I'm not certain. I mean, obviously the programming, but that's not as important to me anymore--it's more about hanging out with friends. I don't know if I'll get to go to any more of these cons after this, so it's a pretty important thing to me to just see everybody. So maybe the registration really isn't much of a great thing. I mean, usually everybody just hangs out in public areas and goes out to eat anyway...
