I am within a sentence or two of finishing part nine.

Once part nine is done, I will be free to start writing the last two parts. Now, usually when I start writing a fic, I have certain scenes that I'm excited to write. Well, in this fic, the scene I wanted to write was in part two, lol, so that meant I wasn't really certain where to go after...nor was I incredibly motivated. Then the rest of the plot came together in my head, and I wrote an outline for everything that's left, and just reading the notes for ten and eleven makes me jump around the house like a loon. I can't wait to write the rest of this fic! Only another 15-20k and I'll be finished. This is so exciting!

I'm really hanging in there. If I can get to the computer during the day with some time and my head in the right spot, I can get out 1-2k every day, it seems. This is the first step to actually writing commercial fic, I think!

And you must be having a hellasucky August--I'm so sorry, sweetie! *giant hugs*

PS: will send you what I've written in another minute or two...I'm just having trouble finishing the scene. Might let that go until tomorrow.

I have an idea for commercial fic (I have a few, but one is better for the market than the rest), and I think I might tackle that very very soon.

And August will soon be over, and hopefully September will be full of delicious hot sweaty men. Or just two. One blond, one black-haired.

Go Bug Van! BTW, I'm in the Sheena Easton eps now. I still miss Zito. :(

I am going nuts. I rarely write fics this long, either, and I'm just completely excited and freaked out! I'm already at 64k and I still have two more sections. This thing will top out at 80k, I think--so it's going to be a novel-length fic, holy cow!

YAY for learning lots! I'm trying so hard to get my brain writing again, but it's like it's forgotten how to get the ideas from brain to prose.

I'm trying to remember to WRITE THINGS DOWN. I always think I'll remember them, but I don't. I've mentioned my substitutive memory before--where I remember that I have three things to pick up at the grocery store, but then I can't remember which three things they are because I've substituted the memory of the things with the fact that there are three of them--and it happens in writing, too, where I remember that there was supposed to be a little scene of hinting before the big brutal event, and I wrote down the big brutal event but I can't remember exactly how the hinting went. *headdesk*

I agree about how difficult it is to get ideas to paper--that's the worst point for me. Often I just can't start anything. grah!!

Augh! Brains. Yeah, I do something like that, too--my notes can often be somewhat vague because I think that I'll remember all the little things.

And, of course, the little things are the first I forget.
