I'm still trying to remember to take pics of the pond. So that means...three times in two months. heh.



In the rain yesterday. The trees started changing color after the Fourth of July, no lie.

Husband says he's seen deer at the edge of the pond. I haven't seen any, myself. But we do have a lovely varmint--er, muskrat, and we had a groundhog briefly. And lots of birds, especially the cute yellow finches.

We own the opposite shore, and up to the left edge, so we do have part of the pond. The rest belongs to three other houses. Hopefully we'll all agree to just keep it natural!

We do have a boat! And Husband would totally not mind rowing me around, I know it. But I'd have to time it for a nice part of the day because otherwise we'd get eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Supposedly there are fish in the pond, too...
