valis2about my lack of sleep woes and the eleven phone calls between 6:45 and 10:30 but you've heard it all before.

And here it is on 12-8-09. It iced over, all beautifully rippled. Now it's snow-covered, but I've left before dawn and come home after sunset, so I'll have to wait until the weekend to get new pics.
The view to the right. You can now see more of the pond because the birch tree shed its leaves. The pond is shaped like a large backwards letter "C."
