Wow, LJ now has statistics! For paid users only, looks like A little more info.

My obsessive heart is overjoyed.

Looks like about 40 or so people regularly read my journal, which is about what I thought. The 290+ people on my flist looks pretty impressive until you realize that a lot of them have fallen off LJ.

Still no dryer. I'm starting to get creative with my outfits for work. I have no idea what I'll do if this goes on another week. Beg my sister for the use of her laundry machines, most likely.

In happy news, I don't have to work on Friday. I wasn't scheduled to come in but I thought I might have to, but after finishing most of the stuff I needed to do for the week today, it looks like I'll be able to use tomorrow to catch up on last week's work, and thus keep Friday free and clear. This is great because I have new eBay auctions (which require more work than just relisting the same items) and I still am massively behind on Etsy.

Still trying to finish a teensy fic! I just don't seem to be able to coordinate brainpower and free time. lol.

These stats are so cool, but also a little creepy. :)

Aren't they, though? I'm so intrigued by them. Though they're a little inflated--if you click on the cut, for example, and click to comment, then that's counted as three views. You can look at it by just unique views, though.

Still, so fascinating.

Super fascinating. I always wonder how many people are reading--I feel as if I could name about two or three dozen who comment on my entries occasionally, but it's interesting to see how many folks must be skimming while reading their friends list, for example.

Hm. I hope I'm opted out of the Big Brother user tracking system, though. Better go check. Thanks for linking! M.

Oh yes, I posted about the "guests" thing when they first announced it, and made certain I opted out. *nods vigorously*

Too bad I let my account lapse just a couple of weeks ago - it would be interesting to check that out.

40 is a good number. I don't have that many friends yet.:) I totally opted into the Guest thing, though, to feed my compulsive need to know who's watching. Although it won't really matter since all my friends have opted out. Maybe I can make new, stalker, friends with it.

Have you asked Cody to lend you his flowered shirt yet?

I opted out of the guest thing, so I will be one of those sad, anon people wandering in and out of your journal, lol.

I think forty is manageable. However, I would love more. I don't know where to get them anymore, though! I'm not really in HP anymore, and Riptide is very slow to add new people from, and I'm just blanking on what to do. lol.

And so far I haven't needed Cody's flowered shirt. Another couple days, though, and I'll definitely be begging.

oh, how interesting. Thanks for pointing this out. I, too, opted out of the Guest thing. That was a bit much.

Oh yes, I was a little freaked by the guest thing. I opted out of that as soon as I read about it a couple months ago.

But stats! Yippee! I'm so geeked.

Wow. Nothing like stats to remind me that, since I stopped being active in fandom, there are very, very few people who even skim my entries anymore. Heh.

But I have some damned good friends here, so it's okay. =D

It's weird how cyclical it all is. I really notice the slide in new entries on my flist, and I do try to find new friends. But it's harder in the Riptide fandom--there aren't a lot of new people coming in, unlike HP, and my HP friends are wandering away, and I'm starting to wonder where I'll find new peeps.

Thank goodness some of my fave peeps have stayed, like you! :) *hugs*

Not relevant to the post but:
I completely forgot to keep checking comments on your post where we were talking about my X-Files VHS tapes. Do you want them? If you haven't decided yet, it's OK, I'm not in a hurry.
