Um. Failing at LJ.

valis2I somehow have lost the will to post. heh.
Actually, I have more long entries in my head than ever. I have a few unusual recs to do, and some book reviews, and I've been bottlenecked in reading X-Files by this ginormous Deeper Mary Sue thing that is making me squee with h/c happies. It's also making me pull out my hair every time something Sueish creeps in. But I'm not actually managing to put the entries together, which is vexing me. Usually the LJ entries flow like water. As you all know. It's a nice way of saying I'm spammy, lol.
I came back to work today, and all seemed...lost, at first, but then later my boss was actually joking with me. I have no idea what this means. I'm just going to cross my fingers and try to hide under my desk as much as possible for the next two weeks.
I've been writing more Riptide fanfic, and my head is swirling with ideas (not coffee grounds, thank goodness) and I didn't get enough sleep last night. I am going to bed early tonight. *nodnod*
January is one of the worst months for me. Just like April/May. It's because of the huge demarcation of going away for a month in Jan/Feb and May/June. As soon as I hit January 1st, the countdown suddenly seems that much realer and closer and it makes me squirm. I have to start making my Huge Checklist and stuff. I was planning on taking my computer and my scanner and my printer and both of my rolling organization units and doing Etsy and eBay while I'm there, but I have really thought about it and I'm afraid that my scanner will finally give up the ghost, and it's just so awkward, and I could only do maybe two auctions during the whole month because of the schedule, so I think I might have to leave it all at home. Which is good in terms of not damaging my beloved things, but bad in terms of money coming in. And conversing online. I will really have very little access to y'all, as usual when I go out of town. Only I'll have more time to not be online. wah. I must bring books. Lots of books. And paper. I really need to try to write some stuff while I have a month of not online.
Okay, I think I've exceeded my usual whine quotient for an LJ entry. Night, flist.
