So Husband told me this morning that I had to go out and take pics because we had an unusual frost. A spiky frost.

How right he was! I know I'm pushing my luck by putting up two image-intensive entries on one day, but this is one of those rare photo ops you just can't pass up.

First up, a branch with frost so you can see how spiky it got. Very cool.

Branches with berries. I tried taking pics of the apple tree, especially one with a withered apple, but it didn't come out.

The pond, but a closer view than usual.

And the high grass at the edge of the pond.

The butterfly bush. I love the pic of the leaves.

Y'know, I'm glad that we left these two bushes out front, just so I could get these pics. eee! I love them.

Evergreens. The frost was not very spiky, but still photogenic.

Two lackluster photos, but thought you might want to see a deer track.

hee! It was sooooo cool and beautiful. Delicate and gorgeous. I can't remember seeing it that often before--it must be a rare thing.

It reminds me of the crystals that form in one of our IV medications at work. They spike up all over the inside of the vial, and melt away when the vial's placed in warm water. <3 It's so neat.
