If you could change the ending to one piece of canon (book, TV, movie, whatever), what would you change and why?

Dude, you probably already know where this is going, but I would have changed the ending to HP. DH would have been a different book. I missed the format of the school year. I think also that having Voldemort taking over the WW for the year was biting off more than she could chew; I think it bled a lot of the tension away, at least for me. I mean, some of it was really interesting and a little scary, but in the progression of books, it really seemed jarring.

I could go on and on, but honestly, I just think that the ending was a little strange and anticlimactic in some ways. I was astonished at how easy it was for V to take over the whole WW and I wondered why he just didn't do that from the beginning.

Hee, I figured you'd say something along those lines! For what it's worth, I agree with you about V taking over the whole wizarding world - I feel like it wasn't consistent with the type of villain that she'd shown him to be in the past.

But yeah, after all of these bizarrely complicated plots (holy cow, like Goblet of Fire), it was really insane that he was just like, "Yo, let's just mind-control a couple peeps and then we're in like Flynn."
