The question(s) can be silly, serious, sexy, meta (five stories that I haven't told for a particular fandom), or whatever else strikes your fancy. Harry Potter, the Mummy, Riptide (ee! please!). You can ask about Miami Vice, Starsky & Hutch, Knight Rider. I haven't written for them, but I think I might be able to be entertaining in those fandoms. lol.

Ooh, what a question!

It's easy to say what's different--she has excellent manners, is extremely reserved and controlled, and is highly competent and focused.

I'm trying to think what's the same, though. Perhaps her hero worship for her father (which wrecked her when he spurned her). Allowing other people to make her decisions. The ability to put up with annoying stuff for long periods of time...er, I mean, patience, but I don't always have that--except in weird situations, where I think there's just no choice.

She also can forgive slights against herself because her self-esteem is a little low, which I can often empathize with entirely.

She's plain, too, and has some of the hang ups you get from being plain.

I am wracking my brain, trying to come up with more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Great question!
