Ask me a question (or questions) about the characters I write. Or even about the universes. Or whatever.

The question(s) can be silly, serious, sexy, meta (five stories that I haven't told for a particular fandom), or whatever else strikes your fancy. Harry Potter, the Mummy, Riptide (ee! please!). You can ask about Miami Vice, Starsky & Hutch, Knight Rider. I haven't written for them, but I think I might be able to be entertaining in those fandoms. lol.

Do you think that being a writer shades your relationship (or how you percieve your relationship) with your husband? Do you "mindread" him more since you are used to controlling your character's thoughts? Do you mine your conversations for fictional fodder?

Wow, these are great questions. Let me think.

I'm not certain how much it impacts our relationship. I know that the same detail-oriented mindset applies to both, and it probably annoys the hell out of him when I get completely obsessed about not leaving wooden spoons in the sink, but I can just feel them rotting somehow, lol. I have a vivid imagination and I also jump to conclusions that most normal people don't. I like to figure people out psychologically, but that is a very hit-or-miss thing and it can't be easy for him when I misinterpret his old friend's words.

Through my eyes, it's

Do you "mindread" him more since you are used to controlling your character's thoughts?

I don't think so. Maybe? I know him pretty well at this point, though, and sometimes he'll just look at me and I'll know what he's thinking. I also can sometimes predict what he's going to do, though that's really tricky because he's got this very strong streak of randomness and he can be hard to predict.

Do you mine your conversations for fictional fodder?

Hells yes. I don't go out and experience much, and I find that conversations with people, even strangers, often yields all sorts of wonderful nuggets of information. Sometimes I remember to try to listen to their speech patterns, too, but I'm not very good at that.

Thanks for the questions! :) *hugs*
