So I went to the optometrist for appointment number three.

There's nothing wrong with my closeup vision, exactly as I had expected. So he's mystified. He's going to try changing the lens material and the curve of the lens. I so hope this works. If it doesn't, I'm going to the ophthamalogist next, because the headaches are killing me.

Anyway, I'm running away for a few days. I'm driving up north to visit my parents, and then on Saturday I'll get up and drive to a show, and then drive home, so I'll see you all Saturday evening, or Sunday, depending on how headachey I am by that point.

*hugs* Take care, flist!

Good luck! If the last glasses worked, how about dropping back to that level? Just a thought.

:) It was a good show (for its size), and I was surprised a little. Still, it wasn't out of the park. But I'm happy! Yay!

The glasses are another matter. :(

GAH. I can sympathise (I have chronic head/jaw pain thanks to a maxillary bone misalignment)--constant headaches are the worst. Pain anywhere else can be dealt with, but when it's in your head and behind your eyes--gah. No.

I really hope either your optometrist or ophthalmologist can figure the mess out and provide you with glasses that do what they're supposed to. I also hope you don't have to pay for another pair, because that'd be adding insult to injury.

I'm so hoping that this can be figured out. It's really making me mental! By the end of each day my head's killing me.

If the optometrist can't get it right, then I'm going to the ophthalmologist next. Definitely.

And so far they haven't asked for a penny, which is nice. :)

Eeep! That's so awful, babe. Maybe it's time to make the ophthalmologist appt. *hugs*

I just got back--they claim that it is the fault of the baseline curve, and that this next lens will clear it all up. I have my fingers crossed!
