At some point
Sep. 30th, 2010 10:11 pmI will take a breath.
I feel like I've been on a treadmill for two months. Not one of those awful, huffy-puffy treadmills. Rather, a getting-things-done treadmill, strong and steady. I've accomplished a lot in the past two months. Hundreds of pictures prepared for my website. Merchandise processed, and an entirely new set of display pieces/show signs being worked on for the next three shows, which are the next three weekends. I've cleaned out my merchandise bins, packaged tons of items, and I'm just about ready.
I got my new computer, transferred everything over, and set it up. It's glorious.
I revised the descriptions for my website. The shipping blurb is done. The FAQ page is done. The About Me is done. I have a few new products to add, but they can wait for now.
I'm prepping a new batch of eBay auctions. I've been selling steadily on eBay and Etsy. In fact, I'm low on stock in the eBay store again! I need to order boxes. I also need to go through all of my eBay/Etsy descriptions and make them match the website descriptions, both in the store and in my listing program.
Sadly, I haven't had time to read any fanfiction. Or write much, either. I'm hoping that I'll have a little more time in October for both.
In short, I'm feeling really productive, and I'm not used to this, lol. It's a great feeling. I feel like I've been mired in the mud (in more ways than one) for several years, and this is the first lever I've applied. I'm inching my way up and out! Hooray!

There's a balance to be struck, somehow. I haven't yet figured out where.
