sick sickity blergh
Oct. 12th, 2010 10:12 pmSore throat coughing ick.
Fortunately, sweet Husband is here, bearing Theraflu, and there is an understanding Boss. I've taken tomorrow off and I'm going to the doctor's.
In other exciting news, I am trying Google Chrome for the second time, as I hear it's even better. Sadly, I can't get Yahoo mail to work with it, and as Yahoo mail is the #1 way I keep up with eBay/Etsy, and because of the 20 tab visual limitation thing, and because there is no NoScript (there is NotScript but it is not the same), I think the experiment has failed again.
I will try again, but honestly, I'm breathing a sigh of relief. I do like Firefox, though I wish it weren't such a memory hog now. (The one thing I had hoped to fix, though, is that my printer will only print stuff from IE right now, and I thought that if Chrome was Mostly Good, and printed, then I would use that, but nope. Not going to work.)
Also, Yahoo spontaneously changed over to NEW COKE--I mean, their new mail structure that they've had for a few years. There are things I like about it, and things I don't like, but it wouldn't display at all with Chrome, so I turned it off, and now Chrome is a no-go, and I'm going to be lazy about turning it back on until it does it spontaneously again.
Such is my exciting life. I hope this made sense because now that I reread it, it's kind of like word soup.

Date: 2010-10-13 04:02 pm (UTC)Now that it's switched itself (seriously, I clicked on an email and suddenly everything stopped and it went to New), I'm experimenting to see if it's less buggy. So far, it's been okay.
