Bizarre thought of the day.

I was doing something at work today with lists of names and noticed the name "Oberdorf".
Where did my goofy brain go?
One Dorf to rule them all and in the darkness bind them...
I am such a geek.

I'll snape your scrawny little neck.
It fills me with green and silver house pride, every time, of course. :)

Date: 2005-03-23 05:03 pm (UTC)Oh, so very, very, very, very true. He was teh hott in all that period clothing and, just, wow.
I have the entire Granada series on DVD and it's getting a lot of re-watchings; now, whenever I think of Holmes, it's his face I keep seeing. The production on the series was fantastic, for once there was no bumbling!Watson stereotype, and Brett simply PWNED the Holmes character -- all the little twitches and quirks and his misanthropic nature and general irritability.
I have so much love for that series, flaws and all. *huggles DVDs*

Date: 2005-03-23 08:30 pm (UTC)I loved Edward Hardwicke as Watson rather than Burke (not that I didn't like him too...he was just way to bubbly...though for Adventures...Watson rather was, wasn't he).
Seen you on the 221b community page! Very cool to know there is a HP and SH fan out there too!
BTW...(yes, a gratuitous plug)...if you are interested, me and my snazzy co-writer have posted a Sherlock Holmes mystery over at Chaos. I hear you write Holmes/Watson? When I posted, was told it was about time Holmes got some fic...(hint...hint)
We need more Holmes...and SHex's Chaos needs more traffic...
Right...end of plug...back to drool at my Holmes (Brett) pics...
Yup...very lickable...
Thanks for the laffs
Date: 2005-03-25 02:30 pm (UTC)I laughed very hard, I tell you.
Where was it that I read someone discussing Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn using the term "Lord of the Schwing"? (How do you spell that?) Not that I don't appreciate Aragorn, but he's always struck me as being badly in need of a bath. There would be no shortage of fangirl volunteers for that job, I think.

Date: 2005-03-25 03:37 pm (UTC)How's that for a long and complicated sentence? heh.
Still working on a little guide for LJ. I will be gone over the weekend so it will probably go up Monday.
