I know little to nothing about artwork; these are the recommendations of an inexperienced but enthusiastic Snape-a-holic. I hope you enjoy looking through some of the art. I hope I have not offended anyone with my less-than-proper terminology.
Snape websites
- Dark Potions: One of my two favorite Snape sites.
mysduende has a lovely collection of photos, recommendations, and links to fanfiction. The two standout areas (in my mind) are: the "Weekly Reads", where she writes detailed reviews of Snape!fics, and the "Frockcoat Fetish", where she devotes several photos to exploring the loveliness that is movie!Snape's wardrobe. A great site, top-notch, indispensible for those who love Snape.
- Designer Potions: My other favorite Snape site.
snapesforte has pulled out all the stops in creating a canon!Snape extravaganza. She is redesigning the site right now, and it is Flash-based, be warned. It's absolutely worth it to check it out. The standout here, besides the creative interaction on the site (reminds me of JKR's site!), is her "Sleuthing" section. This is an exhaustive resource, and a must-read. She has numerous essays on nearly every aspect of the Potions master. She covers theories, facts, language, clothes...really, it's excellent.
- Grusha's Severus Snape: An amusing site featuring an Automatic Detention Dispenser and the Pants Game, which has some amusing moments.
- Snapey Screencaps: Just what it says; high quality screencaps from the HP movies featuring Snape.
- Severus Snape's Slytherin Society: Lots of links, photos, and artwork.
- Logospilgrim's Site: Pics of
logospilgrim's costuming work and many pics of her dressed as Snape in various settings including cemeteries. The site has strong religious overtones.

- Edgeworlds: art by Anneth Lagamo. Gorgeous, beautiful colors, some Severus/Hermione art. A couple great sketches of Proud!Severus here.
- Nasubionna: Laura Freeman's art. Elegant, many of the illustrations look like they should appear as illustrations for the books. She draws a lot of canon scenes that are terrific. here is one of my favorites.
- Elfwood: Loke Mei Yin Severus with the DE mask.
- Deviantart: Lizard-spots: An amazing artist, whose subjects look so natural and caught in the middle of their actions. Some art features slash. Definitely has a sense of humor.
- gammayokko: Unusual artist, not too many Snape pieces.
- Synchresta Duende: Beautiful pieces, lovely lines. SS/OFC in many drawings. Amazing piece of Snape doing the tango with an OFC really captures something about him that comes out in many SS/OFC works. I love that drawing. I may not want Snape to tango, but if he does, that's it right there.
mysduende
- Saridout: Lively, energetic art. Also features slash in some pieces. I like this piece.

- Egyptian Mau: black & white, long-lined and spare work with Severus as the subject by a Russian artist.
- Only Slightly Evil: by M. Bold lines, strong style, few Severus images. Probably my favorite is this great image.
- The Marauders Comics: Cute and sweet, by
ac1d6urn.
- Deviantart: firefly: Also
ac1d6urn. Amazing, amazing art, beautiful, lush, glowing work. You can almost feel the magic.
