This morning I had a very intense set of dreams.

The last dream (I won't even go into the Flying Winnebago dream):

I was with most of the Fellowship. We were inside some sort of huge half-sphere (kind of like a biodome). It was twilighty, near dark. We were running on these causeways through a jungle portion of the terrain. Everything was incredibly lush, with tall trees. The causeways were really wide and rock-solid and met up with each other a lot, and all of the plant-life was higher than the causeways, so it almost looked like you were walking through a forest. There was an enormous hill that we passed at one point, just covered with tropical plants and gleaming tiny lights.

Aragorn is really worried, and it turns out he's right, because this huge army of people is following us. We come to a place where three causeways cross, and we're trapped in the center of it, with angry people coming at us from six directions at once. My friend [livejournal.com profile] barda is there and we're both Amazonian-style warrior girls. I have a long cream-colored cloak. The people engage us in battle and we're struggling furiously. [livejournal.com profile] barda shouts that we need to fight back-to-back, and I agree after I'm nearly skewered. So we stand like that and begin dealing pretty damned impressive destruction.

Aragorn shouts that we need to make a circle, so that none of the people can attack our backs, and [livejournal.com profile] barda's all like, I've taken care of that, dude, but we join the circle anyway. The hobbits are getting really worn out, and there is just no end to the people.

So I begin to sing.

I am singing some wildly horrible notes, all in a very unsupported falsetto, and half of the Fellowship is looking at me as if I'm insane, and the other half is nodding because they know what I'm doing. I'm singing, and I'm singing, and the people all lower their weapons and look blankly at nothing.

Aragorn is shouting for us to leave...we don't have much time! So we begin to take off. The people who were attacking us are just standing there, totally zombified by my voice. At this point I realize that some of the Fellowship are carrying pieces of furniture, and they've left behind a big cabinet. Still singing, I inspect the cabinet, and Samwise points out that he thinks it was Bilbo's and is now Frodo's, but no one can bring it. Since I wasn't bringing any furniture, I decide to bring it. But it's huge. Somehow it has rollers on one side and I begin to roll it, but it's heavy. I'm still singing, and I follow them through the causeways, dragging the cabinet and attempting to keep up this bizarre "song".

The causeway eventually curves off to one side (we've left the attacking people long behind) and we stop at what is apparently the "entrance" to this area. It is next to another hill, somewhat smaller, and two hobbits are standing there at the entrance. There is a long vine which comes down from the ceiling. It has glowing pods on it that move occasionally. I catch up with everybody. Apparently this is supposed to be a garden of resting or something, and the souls of nature spirits return here, and sometimes hobbits, though the two hobbits do not seem concerned that there are a bunch of quite battle-crazy people running around attacking others at random. He (one of the hobbits) has a glowing sphere, and he opens it and it is filled with glowing goo, and we all watch transfixed as he questions the goo to find out if it wants to stay or not. The goo giggles and decides to stay, and I'm relieved.

Yep, that's it. Singing, supah battle skills...again, I'm a Sue. At least I don't have pretentious ponytails like last time.

Y'know, that's the first Sue I've read in a long time who managed to entrance the combatants because her voice was so bloody awful. *is amused* :) I never remember my dreams in such clarity...

It was quite the atmospheric little dream. I was rather impressed. And my singing really did sound awful. When I woke up I couldn't believe that the people attacking us didn't just kill me to put them out of their misery.
