Once again my eyesight brings me laughter...

I was just doing a TV Guide crossword puzzle. (Two of the answers were Alan Rickman and Dirk Benedict...yum.) One of the final clues was

Pirate groan

which I misread as

Pirate groin.

Of course, that led me to phrases pirates use to refer to their groin...

"Arr! That's a mighty peg leg you got there."
"Me mizzenmast's been hoisted!"
"I'm about to broadside you with me cannon!"

Oh, absolutely, me too! There was some ad for Snuggle recently and I could have sworn it said Muggle.

The same thing happened to me, with the word smuggle. My eyes just refused to see the letter 's'. I love it when that happens, it makes me feel like I'm reading the Daily Prophet.
