I have three choices.

1) Expedite the source material, but I won't get it until Tuesday, and that is the last day of the challenge, and I already have a pretty full day.

2) Just wing it, using other stories to fill in.

3) Choose a new story.

1 & 2 still have one problem; namely, no one will recognize the story, and even if someone decides they want to read the story, it is almost impossible to get.

3 means starting from scratch, and drives me crazy, because the story idea is so great that I don't want to discard it.

Maybe you could just extend the deadline? It is your community, after all ;) And there are always authors out there who welcome extensions - I know I have done in the past!

I wish I could extend the deadline...however, I leave June 6th, and don't return until the end of June, and that's a bit long.
