01. Reply and I will write something about you.
02. I will then tell what song/movie remind me of you.
04. I will try to use a word or phrase that best describes you.
05. I'll tell you the most memorable interchange I've had with you.
06. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
07. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.

A bit modified, but there you go. Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] privatemaladict.

I've always wondered at your infinite patience with me..

It probably is related to the fact that I'm a bookish uber-nerd whose childhood dream was to be a book editor. I tell myself that reading and reviewing good fanfic will help me in my writing- but too often I use it as an excuse not to write.

Thanks for the thoughts.

You wanted to be a book editor? How utterly fascinating! Are you still desiring that occupation?

Oh no and it's not something I ever really pursued. I'm actually half book nerd and half science nerd. The science half won out- I'm a physician. My RL friends would be horrified (I think) if they knew about my 'literary Sue' self. Part of me still believes that reading for a living would be a wonderful way to go but the fic I am currently beta-reading (rewriting) is enough to scare me back to reality.

Editing is definitely a tough occupation!

Fascinating that you had a choice between such a "right-brained" pursuit and a "left-brained" pursuit.

Hmmmm, never thought of it that way- just saw big stacks of books in both directions. But you're right.

I gave up medicine several years ago in order to home educate my children- a much more right-brained activity than I had anticipated. Maybe with all the extra 'right-sided' exercise, I'll be ready for that editor career when they're done school!
