Rereading the smutmas fic, I realize that, a) it's hotter than I imagined, b) it isn't awkward like I thought, and c) it really is nearly finished.

I'm really ecstatic now. I had myself super worked up and worried over it.

It's one of those things where it matters to me how well it goes over because a) it's being written for someone, an actual person, and I really want them to like it, b) it's anonymous so there will be (hopefully) no expectations about it when it's first read and then later when the names are announced hopefully people will think, wow, didn't expect that from her, cool, and c) it's my first try at this sort of fic.

I am really feeling relieved. Now, to locate mariannelee and pray that she can do a rush beta job...
