This is Pita, or, as I ended up calling her, Peach. She was my cat completely. Followed me around everywhere. Jumped up on the counter to say hello (sometimes into the bowl of soup I was eating). Would steal earrings and shiny things. Loved to sleep under the covers. Was dumb as a box of rocks, but sweet as the day is long.

Now this was my baby. His original name was Midnight, which lasted all of twelve hours. He was Kitty Meowsey for a very long time, and then he became Little Moo, which was really his name, I think. He lived to be nearly twenty-two. I love the gleam in his eye here. He was mostly dignified, quite certain in his place in this world, full of talk. He had such a wonderful voice, and could be very sweet when he wanted to. I loved him so very much. Still miss him tremendously.
Bizarrely enough, one of my fave pics. Tusker Moo!
You can see his adorable grey shoulder. He really was going grey at the end. *smooches the Moo and Peach pics*

Date: 2006-03-14 06:31 am (UTC)Those are some gorgeous pics - not just couase they're gorgeous kitties, but because the actual photos are really good. Now I want to go give my kitty a cuddle. He's not very photogenic, because he's all black - he always looks too shiny in photos.

Date: 2006-03-14 11:59 am (UTC)Moo looked much better in pics when he got older and began going grey...before that he always looked flat in pictures without a lot of light. He was such a sweetie! I miss having a cat.
