This is entirely
deviantauthor's fault.

This is Pita, or, as I ended up calling her, Peach. She was my cat completely. Followed me around everywhere. Jumped up on the counter to say hello (sometimes into the bowl of soup I was eating). Would steal earrings and shiny things. Loved to sleep under the covers. Was dumb as a box of rocks, but sweet as the day is long.

EXTREME CLOSE-UP WHOA

Reclining fluffy belly awww.

Now this was my baby. His original name was Midnight, which lasted all of twelve hours. He was Kitty Meowsey for a very long time, and then he became Little Moo, which was really his name, I think. He lived to be nearly twenty-two. I love the gleam in his eye here. He was mostly dignified, quite certain in his place in this world, full of talk. He had such a wonderful voice, and could be very sweet when he wanted to. I loved him so very much. Still miss him tremendously.

Bizarrely enough, one of my fave pics. Tusker Moo!

You can see his adorable grey shoulder. He really was going grey at the end. *smooches the Moo and Peach pics*

I wouldn't want to take the risk that the cat gets run over by a car. This happens so often and is really sad. Parent's of a friend of mine had a very clever cat. Every time she heard a car engine, she left the street.
1000 ft are about 90 square metres? That seems a big enough place to share for a woman and a cat. :-) A friend of mine,
I didn't want to imply that a cat is always unhappy when kept inside. Maybe most of them feel just fine that way. It would be the best if there was a way to tell them apart from those types who'd like to run free, even at a young age.

Date: 2006-03-15 10:01 pm (UTC)I imagine it would better have tiles than carpet, because cats like to scratch in the box. From what I know of cat people, most of them share their bathroom with the cat's litterbox. In my place, the bathroom is really tiny; it would be very difficult to squeeze a litterbox in.
