ms_hecubus, so I must continue the meme...
Not because you have to, but because you WANT to! Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 6 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
I don't really look for things to "calm me down"; I feel stress sometimes, but it's not much compared to many. Most of the stress I feel is momentary, and lapses after an hour, or sometimes a minute or two. So I'll just go for "Six Things I Enjoy" instead, because I don't do things specifically to "lower my anxiety level".
1. Being online. Love it! So many people to chat with, so many fun links to follow, so much fic to read, so much art to look at.
2. Crafting. Though if it isn't going my way I do tend to get a bit pissed. heh.
3. Watching one of the Old Favorites (Flash Gordon, the Three Musketeers (hunkfest version), Adv of Robin Hood, the Sea Hawk, Mark of Zorro, etc.) while I craft/sort merchandise.
4. Sorting merchandise. It's lovely, it fulfills all of my OCD needs.
5. Writing. When it's going well there's a thrum in your veins, I swear.
6. Daydreaming. Whenever I'm doing anything that isn't engaging my entire brain, I'm off in Snapeville or Superspytown or Fantasyburg zooming about on a broom or chasing down the plains or infiltrating someone's corporate headquarters through some fun character's eyes. Sometimes when I'm online something sparks me and I turn to the side for a moment and go off on whatever tangent was sparked, and then turn back to the computer after I've explored it.
Whoever wants to do this meme...tag, you're it.
ALSO... Thank you
chocolate_limes for the wonderful link! Anyone interested should check out
potterpuffs for some highly amusing icons and scenes with the HP characters drawn very well in the Power Puff Girls style.
Even MORE also... This entry on
daily_sporfle makes me want to always refer to RW as Ron miniature owl pig from now on.
