So I log into gmail, and I see eight comment notifications for a single entry. I think, oh yay, the fanfiction entry was linked to
metafandom, this must explain the nice, healthy number of comments!
No, not at all. The eight comments were for the TV Guide M&M Horror. There was only one comment for the Giant Entry about Writing Fanfiction.
I should have remembered the Catspam Rule. What, you may ask, is the Catspam Rule? I've just decided that it's this:
The number of comments you will receive for an entry about a life-changing decision is inversely proportional to the number of comments you will receive for posting pictures of your cats.
*laughs like an idjit*
*lurves the flist*
One cool thing...apparently someone is going to try to translate the afore-mentioned Ginormous Heigh Ho Let's Punctuate And Stuff fanfiction entry into Spanish! I hope it happens. That would be cool.
ETA: This isn't meant to poke you and be all like, "yo YO, read my mofo fanfic entry." It's more of a wry giggle about how much we lurves us some cats here in LJland. ;)

Seriously though, I did read your fanfiction essay - both parts - and I really enjoyed it. Much of it - about plotting and POV and staying in character, etc - is stuff that really should be taught when students do creative writing at school, but sadly doesn't often seem to be.

I did read your fanfiction essay
Oh, yay! Thank you so much. I think that most of the flist has seen it one time or another, and that's why there are fewer comments this time around.
