That's kind of neat, that you picked the name without knowing about that book first.

After all, your handle on LJ is much more important because it's a name for you within a community, and people see it and have to remember it

That's the thing about 'cactus wren', and why I'm not sure I should have chosen it. 'Valis' is different, and easy to remember, kind of sophisticated or something; zakkati is odd but easy to remember as it's a 'z' name; 'charlie'smum' easy to remember, because of the adorable Charlie that goes with it; luvboromir24601 - the name is easy, the numbers it took me awhile to remember; you get the idea. Cactus wren is like 'what the hell is a cactus wren?' Unless you live in Arizona, where it's the state bird, or you're one of those birdwatching people. Ah well, I'm stuck with it now, I guess.

I had a feeling that cactus wrens lived in AZ...I do spend 1/12th of my life there. ;)

Cactus wren is such a warm, quirky name. I like it! You could always change it, though.

I still can't remember the numbers for luvboromir! I always have to look it up, or use Semagic to remember it for me.
