I laughed out loud at several of the comment lines of these spammer e-mails:

  • oskro, do you love me or not?

  • what did Ruth find

  • Ingrid needs a card

  • Eve told me about this

  • Or live he rodent

  • You Too Can Profit From Micro-Caps bing sysiphus

The last one is my favorite.

I keep thinking that there is a really great story in this, something really thrilling about marriages for Green Cards and Original Sin and moral choices involving rats and oskro's love, not to mention Chandler and giant stones he has to roll up a hill. Too tired to put it together, though.

And to think, I always thought Micro-Caps bing sysiphus was a sap's game. How wrong was I?

Why is the spam I get never this amusing? Mine is almost always "Enlarge your penis!" and that's the most useless offer I can imagine.

Heh...some of it made me snort. And then there was this guy who sent me pics of his new baby son. But I don't know him at all.

I too get stream of consciousness spam. Today's priceless gem was

go travel do stagger squid.

There have been a series of them where the body of the message starts out like a very garbled novel. Now I wish that I had saved a few. And of course there are the perennial offers of home mortgage refinancing, drugs, and sex toys. When I was sent the names of four bored, lonely housewives whose husbands were out of town, I was tempted to e-mail these women to stop over for a nice cup of tea since they needed some company. :-P

Today's included "she wont laugh agaimn", which is either ridiculous or frightening, I haven't decided which.

I am now thinking long, amusing thoughts about staggering squids.

I love reading down my daily list of spam. It's become an art form, really.

An art form! That made me laugh out loud. *grins*

I've never had a lot of spam (*knocks on the biggest piece of wood I can find*), except for that time I accidentally left my email address attached to a chapter on ficalley.

So now that I've put Mozilla Thunderbird in order and fixed it up to include both the comcast address and the new business email address, I've been noticing that buckets full arrive at the comcast address...daily. Ugh.

2. put a teeny tiny hat on his head

3. make him push a rock up a hill while singing "white christmas"

Normally I would say that she would like that, but in this case, I think there might be a 1-900 number involved...
